We’re looking for a Hardware Design Engineer to join a growing semiconductor systems team in Bergen. You’ll work on PCB design, board bring-up, and prototype testing for advanced electronics platforms used in telecom, automotive, and industrial applications.
This role is hands-on and technical, with plenty of opportunities to work closely with firmware engineers, analog designers, and test teams.
Design schematics and PCBs for evaluation boards and prototypes.
Work with FPGAs, microcontrollers, and SoCs to bring up new systems.
Test and debug boards in the lab using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other equipment.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure designs meet performance and reliability goals.
Document designs and participate in team design reviews.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.
3+ years of hands-on hardware or PCB design experience.
Experience with PCB tools such as Altium, OrCAD, or similar.
Understanding of high-speed signals, power distribution, and signal integrity.
Familiarity with FPGA development and embedded systems is a plus.
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
English fluency required; Norwegian is a plus but not required.
